So Tiffany Mckinzie created this fabulous closet- windows perched high above framed cubbies holding boots, scarves, jeans and a mirror to do a quick touch up and on one side is a section just for SHOES!

While I was in there I found the IT color for this year.... I just knew Denise would have it in her closet and she did!! See, you don't have to go crazy with the HOT color of the year- just a touch and it can set an entire outfit off! Tie that scarf around your neck or just on your the strap of your black handbag and you have it together for sure!
I love this color and it is such fun- they call it honeysuckle- but I call it HOT! LLLove it!

all of these are simple things by themselves but placed in a small room together they offer a tremendous amount of interest... and this was before any art was placed in the room, before any towels were brought in for another layer of texture, color and design.

Each are simple things but it takes an eye for design to bring them together.
It makes me take a long look around my own home and try to figure out how to incorporate some of the things I have learned while photographing the interiors of Tiffany McKinzie Interior Design's latest work.

I loved the textures found throughout the house.. this one of bone, grass cloth and even some metalics. A little goes a long way sometimes but this piece was demanding center stage and it definitely got it before the room was completed. Soon I will show what else went into the making of this little room. Can you guess what this was from and how it is used??

We had a great time creating a more relaxed, more Tiffany-styled, approach to her session. These were some of her last headshots. I little different, huh? I like them both for different reasons. The previous ones were more formal and the last session we did were definitely less formal- both fun behind the scenes for sure!!

As you slowly open up the door.... a soft glow of pink emerges... you know a little girl is going to love her new "big girl room" by Tiffany Mckinzie Interior Designs!
the door opens slightly and as you take your first glance you know you have come to a little girl's dream full of tea parties, story times, soft snuggles before bed, tents made between the beds, and dance recitals held for the most important audience.. the mama and daddy!

I will write soon again and post more of this amazing Pinkalicious room.. the reading corner and window seat are just awesome little places for little girls to snuggle up on and watch the rain storms go by or fall asleep while coloring her favorite character. It's all in the details.. so love it all!

Field Day was always one of my favorite days as a kid. I so loved all the friendly competition of it all, getting ribbons to show my parents at the end of the day. I don't ever remember my mom or dad coming- it was just a day at school for them I guess.
I love to go and for a bit leave my little ones with a grandma and then go get them and let them see the end of the day. It gets them excited about going to school in years to come and I get to be in the moment with the "school kid." It's a win-win for the family.
I have the opportunity to catch my kids just being kids with their classmates... I so love that!! These were some of the moments I caught of one of our children. She has a great group of kids in her class- all with their own personalities from shy to outgoing to silly to studious.

St. Mary's the Assumption is a beautiful church on Magnolia Street in Ft. Worth. Many years ago I attended a friend's wedding there and fell in love with it then. It has a Communion rail which you don't see very often in Catholic churches. I love the formality of it. For this sacrament, the altar was placed to the side so that they could have a Latin Mass said after the sacrament of Confirmation was given.

I can't wait to show more of this sacrament.. enjoy this sneak peek!

Well, the new colors for 2011 just got released today!! I am so excited about them- they have so many possibilities for individuals, families, couples, babies... LOVE them!!
The color for the year is called Honeysuckle! Just a splash or as an entire dress- this color is vibrant and will wake up the portrait for sure!

As Pantone, the leader in color suggests,

"A Color for All Seasons
Courageous. Confident. Vital. A brave new color, for a brave new world. Let the bold spirit of Honeysuckle infuse you, lift you and carry you through the year. It’s a color for every day – with nothing “everyday” about it."

So now, are you with me?? Not quite?? What about pairing it with a lovely cashmere?? Can't imagine it yet?? I have created a color combo template for you to begin imagining the colors today!!

While you go out shopping for your family this Christmas think of these colors in mind for a family portrait! Even a man could wear this honeysuckle in a tie, a stripe in a shirt... a boy with an argyle vest with this color carefully placed, a bow in a little girl's hair or entire little smocked dress in this vibrant color! And Mom... you can find a scarf if you still think this is a bit much. I think you will be pleasantly surprised with how this flows together. Be on the look out- you will be seeing this color everywhere from interior design, clothing, accessories... it's going to be a pretty year!!

Just for some fun on this crazy Monday as the gears shift towards the holidays...
trying to get back to what I had intended... that Monday be the day to take a virtual vacation.... back I go to the mountains!!

To get to this site- Goose Lake- we took a VERY bumpy jeep ride up over 1,000 feet in elevation I think. It took quite a while to get there since it was all up the side of this mountain. From what my husband tells me when you tell people you went to Goose Lake it really means something!!

The views were breathtaking, a peaceful lake at the top of a mountain, snow within reach.. if we just kept walking a bit more... I promised my kids I would hike to it but by the time I realized how far we were and would have to get back to where the rest of the family was I got time for a few shots of the girls overlooking the lake. Perhaps next time we will have an earlier start and get to the snow!!

Crazy long time since I have been able to get to my blog..
if you see a hole in my front window it is because I threw my computer out.. quickly... I swear this thing will be the death of me some day!
An "invisible man" (I kept telling my little ones) has been hard at work from his desk in LA trying to get my computer to play nicely... it seems it has become a bully on my block. When I get it to play nice I get to share lovely moments like this...
a sweet moment between a son and his mama.

I so love seeing such sweet moments and getting to share them. See, they do slow down for a moment for us to get that sweet glimpse us mamas think nobody else sees!

For true giggles and tickles I love this!! What a great smile Mr. K has here as Daddy pokes his ribs!! Can't you hear his giggle??
I will be getting more up as my computer decides to play nice :)

What a game this was! The kids all wore their class t-shirt that had been signed by friends and classmates they have known since kindergarten- what a great momento of childhood! The kids were pumped and just "knew" they would beat the teachers. The rest of the school lined the field from homeplate to third base and from homeplate to first. They cheered their siblings on, hollered for the favorite teachers and had a great time building that sense of community that is so important for them.

What to wear.. what to wear??
When I was a little girl the school I went to had us wearing uniforms. Yep, I could not stand them and would do anything to buck the system.. my true personality coming out in tube socks?? LOL!
but
on the first Friday of every month we could pick out our favorite clothes and be the fashionistas crying out behind the cardigans, saddleoxfords and dresses. I could hardly wait!!

I usually tell people I am photographing in groups to have one person who would wear a pattern and from that pick your colors. When you have so many varying patterns it distracts from your beautiful face and connection with others. In this grouping, however, I think it works because the colors seem to complement each other so well!

So, put on your best fashionista!!

Any day I get to take a portrait of a mama with a baby is a good day! Our kids have known each other since they were little and going to storytime together but never really played until recently. Over my head.

As we took a walk through the forest in Red River to see Greene Peak I saw this cluster of Aspens. Their white bark against the dark woods and the tuft of green foliage against the vibrant blue sky was so striking! I am constantly looking up when under trees. Some photographers can capture the bend in a tree like a child dancing... I am stretching myself to learn to get this angle. It is not as easy as it seems!

If only I had a face in there.. lol... well, seeing as everyone had marched a long I was taking my time trying to get these "dancing children..."

and we did just that.. travel with our hearts and minds.. but camera in hand as we took a generational adventure to Red River, New Mexico!
My oldest daughter took the first photograph. I think it was the only one of the camper we borrowed but I love the destination of the open road and slight bend to it. The kids and I were all very excited to go as we had never been there in the past. Usually our vacations take us to a beach (I'm a beach girl by heart) but this time my husband and his family had ideas of cool summer mountains. After this I just *might* become a cool summer mountain girl!

Our youngest took right to traveling via camper. I asked for words of wisdom from a cousin and she told us.. if it's not put away it will fly! Yea, she wasn't kidding.. and Tonia, if you or your family find crayons in corners.. yep, they flew!
But take a look at that fabulous art work!!!
It was so worth it and I would do it again tomorrow.. anyone game to get out of this heat in DFW??

Has this not been one of the most humid weather for North Texas?? wow!
Anyway, these girls were wonderful and the grandma kept them most entertained by singing songs from even MY childhood- I joined right in!!
I loved how calm the oldest was.... just waiting for the next cue or butterfly to come by..

and then this Miss S who surely has her own agenda! I love a girl who has her mind made up!

and then this Baby S... oh my.. love her sweet smile and when she cocked her head to the side you could see her little face light up!

Carolina is only 2 and fell in her family's backyard pool two days ago.
I do not know this family but a friend called distraught asking for prayers.

Memorial Day | amwz photography

I know traditionally Memorial Day is a day to remember those who have died in service to our country. What if we took the time to say THANK YOU to those service men we see around town? These proud women and men enter service to our country to allow us the freedoms we hold so dear... an easy political process. No matter how flawed we see it we have a process that is truly nonviolent as compared to the rest of the world.
Freedom of speech.

As these fine men and women serve our country they give up so much. Time with family.
These families need our prayers to continue on finding new routines without that person in their family.

They count down the days as to when their loved ones return and the soldiers themselves countdown as to when they will enjoy these freedoms they work tirelessly towards. So, as we enjoy a fresh slice of watermelon, an ice cold beer, a simple game of horseshoes remember all those who have fought for the freedoms we all hold so dear. Remember the families as they pray for a safe return. Remember those who lost their lives in battle while defending our freedoms.

Thank YOU, families, for being generous of your family.
Thank YOU, soldiers, for granting me the freedoms I have and my children have!

I was asked to capture moments in a retreat I recently attended at Good Shepherd Catholic Community in Colleyville. There were so many ah-ha moments for me this wonderful Saturday morning! I really enjoyed every moment of peace and serenity. Before we all met in the church the Archangles Mothers Ministry, who put the retreat together, placed the finishing touches in the hall where we would all enjoy a super luncheon. At each place in the great hall there was a white folder which held a guide for the Rosary. A prayer for mothers to say to bind their children in the prayers of the Rosary and a CD with a slideshow presentation of moments shared in the final talk. On top of each folder was a sheer bag holding a Rosary. It was so moving and a great experience to be a part of right before Mother's Day.
Thanks to all those in Archangels Mothers Ministry for a great morning!

As part of one of my daughter's school assignments we took a trip to the Fort Worth Zoo. We have year passes for the family and it is well worth every single penny. Just by going a few times it pays for itself! With kids who are naturally curious about animals and now putting geography mixed with that we hunt down the zoo keepers and ask away! What college did they go to to study? What did they study? What 3 top things can they tell us about "animal X".. it goes on from there.
When you take a herd of kids, like I usually do, I suggest asking each kiddo which is their favorite animal that they really want to see. I make a point of seeing those animals for sure and any others we might come across are a bonus for the day! Before any of my kids had cameras, they had journals. We would stop and I have the kids draw their favorite animal doing whatever they saw. I know this sounds a bit crazy but they enjoy it- call it sketching and it sounds even better! They can write a poem about it, a Just So Story (a la Rudyard Kipling), or describe it in detail using a sentence strategy I had taught them. At any rate, we would share all these on the way home from the zoo.. I can't wait to do this again this summer!!!

On this day, however, one of my kids had a project to do on the kangaroo so off to the zoo we went! Little did we know the MOLA was opening that weekend!! We *had* to go see what all the hype was about and boy we were not let down!! It is amazing!!!!!

I can't wait just to go ONLY there.. seriously- you could spend a long time in there checking out so many things from snakes you can PET to a crocodile to other lizards.. so facinating!

Each creature has a unique place to be showcased so kids and parents alike can learn so much. There are lots of very helpful zookeepers, biologists and zoologists to ask questions and they don't mind sharing at all!

My girl took her own camera to capture what she wanted to remember her time just with mama. It was so fun for us to discover this - all an extra on the way to the kangaroos! Gotta love the extra animals along the way!

Sleigh bells ring.. are you listening?? What a treat it was for our kids to have a day off of school to play.. too bad we had no electricity.. Our fire could not get our wet mittens and jeans dry enough to keep running outside to play more. We bundled up in every quilt we had and any other blanket we could find around the house. We still had gas so I could cook and we could get warm baths. We definitely used our time wisely as we had no lights when the sun set our house cooled off even more and we would huddle a little more. My husband is a great story teller- I keep telling him he needs to write his stories down that he has told each of our kids (each one has a favorite story he has made up) and he told stories by fire one evening.. it was awesome! Wish I could say I got pictures but my batteries died!!! EEK! So no pictures but lots of memories for our little family!

When I was a little girl there was a little French bakery my mom would take me to when we had half day of school. I think this is from where my love of good bread came. I could smell it and taste it even now as I type! mmmmmmm

We would get bagettes made into ham and cheese sandwiches, a little apple juice and a small salad. If we had enough time, and Mom always made sure we did, we would get some desert like a tart or a palmiers or my favorite... pan au chocolate!! What could be better than bread and chocolate together??? oh, my mouth is watering!!!

Anyway, I am a lover of mom & pop restaurants and shops and found The Village Baking Company a few years back. The owners, Kim and Clint Cooper, were so inviting to my family that we quickly became friends!

Now, I was not a fan of sourdough but Clint has the true artisan technique that it is by far the best sourdough I have ever had.. as a matter of fact, if it is not Clint's sourdough I won't eat it! lol! Although they don't have the little cafe any more (my family still talks about it!) you can find his bread around town.

You can find Clint's artisan bread in Sprout's in Southlake and the local Farmer's Market. I hope to show some more images I took with his bread soon.. but for now we'll just have to pretend the computer has smell-a-vision! LOL!

What a wonderful experience!! Tiffany came and picked me up to shoot on of her latest creations for a home in Dallas!! I had such a great time with her. This was such a different experience for me- no chasing toddlers or worrying about placement of individuals. The house is designed in such a clean contemporary fashion but oh so livable!!
As you walk in the main living area there is a bank of windows flooding the area with natural light- love that!! The color on the walls are so fresh... just what I have been looking for in my own home!
Details for all the textures and colors were carefully chosen. This home is so family friendly with plenty of room for seating, cuddling or rolling around on the floor!

And a round table! The conversations will never end with this dining room!
Tiffany, as always, it was wonderful hanging out with you and seeing your awesome talent! Can't wait to see your next project!!!

Strawberries have been a staple in our home since she was born. I love that I can blame her for having such yummy fruit around all the time!

Just a few short weeks ago we had so many colors around us!!
Never knowing if we have enough rainfall the colors of the autumn are always suprising to me. I love the way God spreads his palette around for us to be mesmerized!
I went to the Japanese Gardens on this day with my friend and our kids. We had a great time and some wild adventures as well.. I hope to share a few..

Time to get those cards ready!!! I love getting cards- I save them- especially the religioius and definitely the portaits. I have an album we keep for family and dear friends. My parents would keep pics in the library table of their friends kids and family members- always loved going through them.
My husband's cousin takes them and places them in a basket he keeps out all year. When I asked him why he told me he sorts through them and uses that family as his special intentions throughout the year. Whether that family knows it or not they get prayers said for their needs. Isn't that such a great idea???

Here is one of the cards I am working on right now.. wouldn't this look great in such a basket or attatched to your mantel??

I love the sweet moments I get to share with my own kids. They are truly my inspiration for even picking up my camera in the first place.
I did study art history while living in Spain and just could not get the granduer of the Alhambra while I studied there. I wanted so desperately to capture the beauty that was so present!!! I wanted to preserve a piece of history like the Roman Road I got to walk on- it truly sent shivers up my spine!! How thrilling for a History and Spanish major to walk on a Roman road!!!
Now I am at a point where I want to cherish even more. The beauty that is around me, the simple moments of playing soccer in the autumn afternoon sun or the contrast of a young baby against her grandmother- the young and the old, the fresh and the worn. I talked to a friend of mine today and we discussed how people like to see the beauty in the young and that no matter what we do.. we age and that it is not beautiful in so many eyes. I begged to differ with her in that it was beautiful- it showed wisdom, enlightenment, education..

These are the hands that loved me, that encouraged me, that disciplined me...
These are the hand that knit ponchoes for me, that tickled my back, that made me think again before I did something disrespectful....
These are the hands that created a needlepoint pillow for my wedding rings to be brought to the priest to bless before we got married.
These are the hands that read, send me silly emails, that help rock my babies to sleep...
These are beautiful hands.
I am thankful for what I have learned at the guidance of these hands.

I can't believe I finally am getting around to posting some portraits from your session...
It seems as though I have gotten older.. and my eyes are showing it!! I have had one migraine after another- even had one this day we got together in Denton!! Most of the time they stay a dull roar but everyonce in a while they cluster one after the other. I am going to the opthamoligist Wednesday so I will hopefully no longer be bombarded with double or blurry vision. With 4 kids it's tough to find time for me sometimes. I can't wait any longer... I need to get these eyes up and running 20/20 or better if that is possible! lol!
I have been working on a few sessions but yours is the one I am currently working feverishly on :)
Amanda came with a list of photos she wanted- ideas for things she had done in the past and sizes she was wanting for her home. Some portraits work out and some don't depending on the age of the child or children in the family. At different ages they will sit, explore, or not even wish the photographer there or all of the above in one session. LOL!

It was so great getting to photograph your family... I always love getting a chance to capture the sweetness you all have!!

I can't imagine life without this little one in our family. She fits right in... for all of us... we knew she would be coming and she did. What a blessing from God to remind us how precious every step of life is from birth to skinned knees, first day of school to first date... How fast your family has grown and it seems like forever ago we were just riding bikes around in Germantown, me watching you develop your own film in the attic and for us to move down and meet Mary... and that has a history all to itself too! lol!

I have a new niece!!!! She is absolutely beautiful!! Her mama and I have been friends since we were 13 and my husband has known her since the 7th grade!! So before all of us... it was just them! lol! Anyway my oldest brother married one of my best friends so whether we like it or not we are stuck with each other. Good thing we like each other.... we share a lot of secrets!!! Hey Mar, what some cinnamon rolls? bwahahahaha!

Anyway, I got to go get some sweet photos of her at 90 minutes of age. Her siblings were late getting to school today awaiting her arrival and first snuggles!! It was a great day all the way around!!! With 3 older siblings and parents who patiently awaited her arrival she will be truly loved! Happy Birthday, MissK!

My family celebrated Mother's Day a week later than usual so we could spend a little more time together. We started with brunch in Solana and met up again after a birthday party for my niece, Miss J. She turned 9 this day!!! The day she was born I was pregnant with my first... waiting my turn to find out if we were to have a boy or a girl. We had 2 nieces born the spring of 2000 (my mom calls it the spring crop lol!)

Miss J was so beautiful and we knew then she was definitely something special!! Her big brown eyes are so soft and inviting!! and those lashes.. geeze.. could ya' spare some, kiddo?? wow! Enjoy your sneak peek!!

Little Baby K, Fort Worth Newborn Photography

This little guy was so good. I never heard him peep until the very end. We knew he was done and he was so good. This is just a sneak peek, Allison!! There are a few more for you to take a look at when we can get back together.

The little cocoon was made by a dear friend of mine (Hi, Bobbe!!!) She has such loving hands and it shows in all the things she makes like this- it shows the warmth and love of her heart!! Baby K just slipped right into it!! I think this is THE baby gift to have.. if you can't get the hang of swaddling a baby and making a "baby burrito" out of them (LOL!) then this could be the answer! lol! It is so warm and comfy!! He probably would have stayed there all day.

I think it's only fitting to have a wee one on the blog on Mother's Day!! Mother's Day is everyday as my mom so often tells me. You don't need a holiday to know you are blessed by God with little souls to take care of, to mould into what He wants for all of us- to be happy, healthy and be kind to one another- unconditionally. Being a mama is the best job I have ever had.. some days it is tougher than others and at times it's a breeze. For sure I know I am loved- unconditionally.. by God and these wee ones grabbing my attention!!

Happy Mother's Day to all the mommies out there!! May you continue to receieve God's graces, warm in the love of your children!

I can share words..
it's bad luck to see the bride before the wedding... I have tried this crop and that to show but it just doesn't do Jalynn's beauty ANY justice to show just one part...
she has the MOST amazing eyes... oh.love.her.eyes!
and the smile and pout to die for... and a mane of hair that is so luxurious! her skin is flawless... ugh... to have 20 something skin again! lol!
I asked if her fiance, Will, knew what he was getting in for and she said, "yes, he does!"... all with her hands on her hip and a pucker just for him!!! Yep, I got the shot but like I said.. I can't share it!! lol!
oh- I found this in my edits... I tell ya, Amanda and I covered this shoot from EVERY angle! I love how 2 photographers can be in one location and still come up with different looks to a shot. I can't wait for us to compare!

Here is what I can tell you..
go to the Fort Worth Botanical Gardens!!
it is so worth it- every corner is more beautiful than the last. There are paths for little ones to explore... my family showed up at the shoot, blew bubbles just in case Jalynn couldn't crack a smile... lol! With all the rain and humidity we have had it is lush and green! The Rose Garden was beautiful and bursting with buds!
It started to sprinkle while we were there so Amanda and Janie (Jalynn's sisterinlaw and mom, respectively) held the reflector over her head. Honestly, God was so good to us in all of our planning this opportunity!
I am so honored that I was able to help capture these sweet moments for you, Jalynn.

Mother Mary, Pray for Us.

My baby girl and I attended the Crowning of Mary at Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Colleyville. It reminded me of when I was a girl in Memphis at St. Agnes. A warm evening, few close friends and some other familiar faces prayed the Rosary, sang some hymns and asked for the Blessed Mother to watch over us and lead us more towards her Son.

In between every decade of the Rosary a woman would light a candle around Mother Mary in the Marion Garden. It was so lovely and peaceful. As the evening passed the garden was full of candlelight.
As I understand, this was just the beginning of this tradition at Good Shepherd. There is a group now forming who will be making Rosaries at the church. If you are interested contact the office for more information.

I had the utmost pleasure photographing a cousin of my husband. I remember when this young lady sat on a piano at our wedding in 1992. She was so sweet in her pink dress and white patten-leather mary janes. She had a big smile then as she watched one of her older cousins get married and party the afternoon away. I have loved watching her grow up into such a talented and loving person... she is so honest in her appreciation of others around her and loving to those who cross her path. I was so honored when she called and asked me to capture her and her fiance at a time when she was truly making her own pathway!

Texas Barn

On the way home from our little one's first road trip we saw this barn. I have a thing for old barns. Better than an old barn is a painted on barn. It can be painted wood or the roof- it doesn't matter to me. I believe it gives it that much more character. When I was a kid I would love taking road trips north. My mom would point out the barns with hex signs on them. These would be painted symbols on the edge of the barn to drive away evil spirits.
Living here in Texas I love that some people here take great pride in their state... it truly is a state of mind... To have our state flag on a barn is... well, cool! As a former Texas History teacher it's even better...

My youngest on her big sister's bed! I love when little ones can arch thier backs and raise up both head and legs... I think actually I am jealous! lol!
I need to put up more of her so you can see the changes in her growth- she is growing much faster than her siblings for sure!
In this she was just getting over the bad part of the flu (for the first time) but still had bad ear infections. She is such an easy going baby and even when she is with a fever she still has giggles and smiles for me!

I asked my friend Kim to give me her thoughts on motherhood and the blessings that follow. This is what she sent me.

This is the only job on earth that has eternal rewards….everything else will turn to dust. We are shaping and molding souls for this lifetime but most importantly for Heaven. God formed a partnership with us mothers to love, teach, nurture, discipline HIS children so they will come to know Him and follow Him. We have the most important job on this earth and what a gift is truly is …..to let the Holy Spirit breathe life inside of us, let him create and form his beautiful child in our womb and then let US be Christ for our children. We are His face to our children, our hands are His hands, our eyes are His eyes. “whatever you do to the least of my people you do to me.” Our children are in turn Christ for us.

I love you, Pam. You are the most joyful mother I have ever met. You are an inspiration to me!

Today is my niece's birthday...
she is one of the sweetest kids I know. She always makes me smile and I am so glad that I was there the day she was born. What a gift to see a birth... not only the birth of a new soul but of my own Godchild. How wonderful is that?? I remember it so well!!! My sister was starving after giving birth and the cafe was closed so her dh ran to get BK for her... I think it hit the spot! lol!
These are the words my sister sent out today with a sweet email about one of my favorite people:

Hi All, I just thought you'd like to see these two pictures. One from MK's first day and the second from just a couple of months ago.
Her first word was a sentence. "Don't do that." She was 6 months old. Now it's, "Why can't I do that?"
Her first steps were at 9 months. Now she's running two miles per workout for the school's cross country club.
At 20 months she told everyone in the supermarket where Mommy's baby was. She's still looking out for her little brother.
At 3 she rode her tricycle with Daddy's help. Now she's looking at Daddy's '66 Mustang...and waiting.

Where have I been?

For those of you who do not know..
I found out shortly after "going public" with my photography that our family was blessed with yet another soul. After being told we could never have any children... 9 years of marriage and 9 surgeries later... we really discovered that God has a great sense of humor and laughed the entire time about my plans!! lol!

When ever I would pick up my camera or sit in front of the computer I would get so sick. I had to put down my camera for the first trimester and then slowly picked it back up here and there for my senior shoots.

I had my 8 year old get a few shots of me while I was at the end of the pregnancy. We thought this baby would never come!!! She was actually a few days late and was much bigger than any of my other children.

Because I am now a momma to 4 cuties my time is really limited until I put my feet on the ground again- they seem to be running a lot lately! lol! I have done a few photo shoots for some close friends who know my time constraints :)

So.. where have I been???
changing diapers
helping in the kindergarten classroom
checking cursive, spelling, algebra (did you know that was being taught in 3rd grade now? wow!)
watching our son find his own way while his big sisters are at school all day
finding out who our new little one is
changing more diapers
potty training
checking more homework
listening to little ones read out loud
being a taxi driver
changing more diapers
making a few meals here and there
listening to my dh snore LOL!
